Community Grants Celebration

Annually,  Council contributes more than $4 million to the community through its community grants, that directly benefit the welfare of residents

This is a significant financial commitment by Council to support its community.

These community organisations provide an invaluable service to our community.

Through this funding the Council is supporting the grassroots infrastructure that helps to build a strong community.

Community grants honour the Council’s commitment to achieving its Community Outcomes as detailed in the Long Term Council Community Plan.

The Council has made a commitment to continue to annually fund community projects to the tune of $8.2 million.

The Council is currently reviewing its community grants funding policies to ensure these are best meeting the needs of the community.
